Emily Mora

Emily Mora was born in St. Marys, Georgia and has been a lifetime resident of Yulee, Florida. She became employed at the age of 19 by the Florida Highway Patrol in February of 2014 and has served as a Patrol Trooper, Field Training Officer, a Traffic Homicide Investigator, Traffic Homicide Investigator Field Training Officer and a Traffic Homicide Instructor.

Emily Mora has specialized in the field of Traffic Enforcement and Traffic Homicide. She has investigated over 500 fatal and life threatening traffic crashes. She has investigated over 75 impaired driving cases, many of those involving traffic crashes. During the last 3 years of her employment with the Florida Highway Patrol, Emily was assigned to the Specialized Investigations & Reconstruction Team (SIRT) - North Team, and became a Certified Traffic Crash Reconstructionist.

While being assigned to the traffic homicide district division and the SIRT North Team, Emily investigated several high profile traffic homicide investigations, to include plane crash fatalities, train crash fatalities and traffic crash fatalities that resulted in murder charges and several other felony cases.

After serving the residents of Florida for 11 years, Emily decided it was time to take her expertise to the private sector. Emily resigned from the Florida Highway Patrol in good standing.
